Etisalat is  pleased to announce the launch of the Wasel Summer Sub-Continent international promotion today. The promotion provides tremendous value to our prepaid customers, enabling them to take advantage of our high quality network at very attractive rates.

Promotion details:

• Etislat Customers who will subscribe to the promotion will enjoy a discounted rate to the sub-continent countries (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal) of 99 fils/ minute during extended off-peak hours starting 5pm to 9am Saturday through Thursday and all day on Friday and public holidays.

• International calls to the sub-continent made during shortened peak hours (9am to 5pm) Saturday through Thursday will be charged at AED 2.40 per minute

• Inter-relation with SOP, FCP and F&F:

o   Customers currently using SOP, FCP or GFF can opt-in to this promotion:

o   Only their international  rates to the sub-continent will change (i.e., 99 fils/min from 5pm to 9am Saturday through Thursday and all day on Friday/public holidays, and 2.4 AED/min from 9am to 5 pm Saturday through Thursday will apply for India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal)

o   All other rates, local and international to non sub-continent countries, will be charged at normal SOP, FCP or GFF rates and timing

o   Once the promotion is complete (September 19th), or the user decides to opt-out of the promotion, the user will automatically be reverted back to their original plan (i.e., SOP, FCP or GFF)

Subscribing to the promotion:

o   Customer can subscribe to this promotion via SMS only (SMS e 99 to 1010).

o   Registration SMS is charged 0.30 AED

o   After the customer sends registration SMS to 1010, the customer will get a confirmation message to inform him/her that registration is complete.
